After proofreading and double-checking the translation, the final translation result will be compared with the source text’s layout and format in order to make some adjustments if necessary, which are almost never a problem thanks to the various CAT tools such as Trados and Wordfast. Any query will be delivered together with the target file to the client or agency and occasionally improvable source texts are now improved target texts.
I always deliver before deadline and due to the time zone I live in (Paraguay, South America), generally, you are assigning a project on your afternoon and while you are sleeping, the translation is on its way, arriving in your inbox when you start your new working day.
