A new translation project is assigned to me, and after confirming it, I start with getting an overview. I thoroughly study the source text, reference material and additional pictures or photos of the product.
My relevant reference dictionaries and corresponding translation tools are available online, and I am setting up all required CAT tools for the project. All this is part of my preparatory work before the actual translation starts.
